Of the many freedom fighters who laid their lives for the country's cause, Subhas Chandra Bose is one of those that is fondly remembered by the Indians. Subhas Chandra Bose Popularly known as 'Netaji', he was born on January 23, 1897. Like Mahatma Gandhi and many others, his aim was simple: to get India the much-needed independence. Despite his differences with him, it was the ultimate goal of freedom that did not deter him from that path. One of his main contributions towards the same is to form the 'Azad Hind Fauj' or the Indian National Army, where radical measures were taken to attain independence for the country. His death is marred with mystery. However, a lot of what he said inspired generations of Indians to come. This year, the central government has decided to rename Subhas Chandra Bose Jayanti as 'Parakram Diwas' that will be celebrated on January 23....
